Map of the Iberian Peninsula
1929

- Architect: Eloi Maquieira Fernández

In 1929, approval was given to acquire from Hepzos a relief map of the Iberian Peninsula with lights indicating the provincial capitals and Lisbon, as well as 14 lighthouses. The project came about following a visit to the park the year before by the president of the general military council, Miguel Primo de Rivera, Marquess of Estella, who during his tour expressed his interest in installing a relief map of Spain in the park.

Construction of a gazebo was approved to protect it. It was made of reinforced concrete based on columns, with double corbels, tile floor with a red pine structure and chestnut yokes. The top part was designated a dovecote, the gutter was made of zinc, forming a drinking trough for the pigeons, with a water supply.
