Abies cephalonica
Greek fir

- Family: Pinaceae
- Origen: area of the island of Kefalonia and the Peloponnesus, Greece
- Interesting fact: it is the fir with the densest foliage, and it is not very common in parks and gardens

Pyramid-shaped, generally less than 25 metres.

The leaves are arranged radially on the branches, 2 to 3 centimetres long, with a sharp, pointy tip. The upper face of the leaves is bright green, with a white line of stomata along the apex, while the under side has two lines of stomata.

The cones are cylindrical, erect, brown in colour, and measure 15 to 20 centimetres in length.
